Our Way2Play Cheer Head Coaches

Head Coach; Way2Play CHEER
Kisha Johson
Kisha is a proud wife to Anthony and a mother to Jasmine, and my heart has always been rooted in family, community, and cheer. Her journey began in Smyrna as a Roadrunner and grew into a 25-year coaching career with the Campbell High School Cheer Program. Along the way, she's had the opportunity to serve as Cheer Director for the Smyrna Seahawks, work in the all-star world with the Atlanta Jayhawks, and cheer at Georgia State University.

For Kisha, cheerleading is about more than just the sport; it is about building confident, disciplined young women and creating a lasting legacy both on and off the mat. She is excited to be a part of the Way2Play family and look forward to continuing to invest in the next generation.

Stephanie Burnett
Stephanie began her athletic journey at the age of three when she enrolled in gymnastics classes. Shortly after, Stephanie started competitive gymnastics, and competed on a team until she was thirteen years old. She transitioned from gymnastics to cheerleading in high school where she cheered for her football team, and also performed with a competition cheerleading team. Throughout her time with gymnastics and cheerleading, Stephanie developed a strong foundation in teamwork, discipline, and performance.
Stephanie was fortunate to work at a gymnastics facility throughout high school, gaining valuable experience coaching and mentoring young athletes, while continuing her own competitive cheerleading career. Stephanie went on to cheer in college, further strengthening her skills and deepening her love for the sport. She is passionate about teamwork, developing physical and mental strength, and creating a positive and encouraging environment where children can grow in confidence and discover their passions.
Stephanie is currently an elementary educator, and is excited about joining Way2Play Cheer!

Head Coach; Way2Play
Eric Homansky
Eric has been teaching in Cobb County for over 20 years and through that experience, saw a growing need for families to have affordable and entertaining after school and summer care choices for their kids. Parents need a safe and healthy environment for their kids and kids just want to play! His goal then and his goal now is to ensure that all of our programs are inclusive, that our coaches treat kids with kindness and respect and that the health and wellness of our kids is top priority.
