Summer Camp

 

Way2Play CHEER is proud to offer summer camp the weeks of June 1-5 and 6-10, 2026 at Teasley elementary school and the week of July 6-10, 2026 at Green Acres elementray school for students in rising grades K–6th. We are fully staffed from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, allowing you to utilize the hours that best fit your family's schedule.

 

Campers will participate in a wide variety of organized cheer and gymnastics based activities while also filling their day with time on the playground, field, and gym.

 

While the day is very active, we also include daily enrichments such as arts and crafts, board games, Legos, Magnatiles, chess, and D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read). Groups rotate to a new activity every 30–45 minutes, ensuring a consistent schedule with fresh activities each day.

At Way2Play CHEER, our top priority is camper safety, participation, and enjoyment. Campers are grouped by age (typically K-1st, 2nd-3rd, and 4th-6th) with a target coach-to-camper ratio of 1:12. In our youngest groups, coaches-in-training provide additional support.

 

Preparation for Camp:

​

- Attire: Comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes.

- Food & Drink: Please pack a morning snack, afternoon snack, lunch, and a reusable water bottle.

- Reading: A book is recommended for D.E.A.R. time, though campers may also borrow from our library.
